Know the Numbers

Math is a catch all term encompassing election analytics, polling, voter turnout, and voter ideology. In short, understanding the math is about understanding the electoral landscape and knowing the path to victory. Candidates should be well versed in the math of their campaign  when planning to run.  It is also important to both donors and supporters. They want to know can you win, and how are you going to do it. Understanding the "Math" makes it possible for a campaign to set benchmarks and develop realistic action plans.
